My name is Mitchell Lorin Mcknight. I was an Electrical student 2 years ago and in my first week we began learning about ohms law and series , parallel and combination circuits. The formulas I could memorize but without any visual input I had difficulty rectifying the numbers and what was actually happening in the circuit - what exactly was Electricity doing ? How was it behaving with resistors or diodes for example . I looked for a circuit builder app thinking it would help my learning curve but I only found 2D simulators that were not user friendly, clunky and esoteric - not very usefull at all ...it is out of that need for this Electrical visualisation Component simulation engine - CircuiTry was Born
Impact and vision
Beyond just building circuits, I hope to get it into schools to help students learn - it's been proven that visual learning greatly increases the learning curve, as well as become a benchmark in the industry with the Component Arena - a 3D real time - Branded Component performance tester - manufacturers components directly performance tested against industry leaders competing with real physics based performance stats , heat , brand , circuit etc . Never before have we been able to pit 2 different components from different manufacturers and see the results in real time with accurate and realistic performance data - it's a game changer!
Our team
I am the Sole proprietor Mitchell Lorin Mcknight I built this from concept to prototype at first with A.I. and then finished with a contracted developer. 2 years from. Concept to completion and 70% built on my android phone with no resources whatsoever . Just determination , perseverance and tenacity .
